The powerful aromatic freshness of Sauvage Parfum is illuminated by the crackle of a pulpy and spicy mandarin note. The intoxicating volutes of a suave tonka bean note with leathery and bitter aromas coat its trail dominated by the note of precious sandalwood. Coming from a Sri Lankan plantation that has been a partner of Dior for over 10 years, the sandalwood note present in Sauvage Parfum has rich nuances and exceptional qualities thanks to very particular cultivation methods.

Difficult to cultivate, it is supported at the beginning of its growth then “released” into a completely wild plantation where nature reclaims its rights.

It is in this harsh and natural universe where the hand of man no longer intervenes that each tree continues its growth, struggles to spread and last until sometimes reaching 100 years of age and more than 12 meters high! It is at this price that its unique olfactory qualities are shaped, year after year, to give the note of sandalwood essence, rare, powerful and rich, of Sauvage.
